EPDM roofing in Colorado Springs and Denver
EPDM is a synthetic rubber membrane used on low-slope roofs. Project Allies helps commercial owners assess the existing roof and discuss repair, replacement or a compatible restoration approach.
Know what is on the building
Existing records, membrane markings and an inspection can help identify the roof system. EPDM is a thermoset membrane, so TPO-style heat welding is not the default repair method. Seams, flashings and repair materials must be compatible with the existing assembly and the selected manufacturer's details.
Review the details around the field
Loose edges, open seams and damaged areas near equipment can call for different repairs. Note the location of leaks and collect information about earlier patches or coatings. That history helps establish whether the problem is localized or whether the roof needs a broader condition assessment.
A coating is a separate decision
EPDM names the membrane, not a universal coating product. If restoration is being considered, the coating must be approved for that substrate and existing finish. Surface preparation, adhesion and any wet or damaged underlying material need attention before a coating scope is agreed.
Compare repair with replacement
A sound field with isolated damage may justify a repair discussion; widespread deterioration or moisture problems call for a different scope. Share your building's use and access restrictions along with its roof history. We can discuss what needs checking before either route is priced.
