Make your home work better for you.
A remodel starts with what you want to change about living in the space. We help turn that goal into a conversation about layout, repair work, finishes and the order of construction.
A finish update or a change of layout?
Fresh flooring and paint have a different scope from moving walls or changing building systems. Decide which problem you are trying to solve before choosing materials. Keeping a layout may simplify the project; moving it can introduce design work, permits and additional trades that belong in the initial plan.
Plan for the parts you will not see
A finished room depends on the surfaces underneath it. Existing moisture damage, uneven floors and wall repairs can affect both the sequence and the budget. Discuss what can be inspected now, what will only be visible after removal and how you will approve any change in scope.
Living at home during the work
Identify the rooms and routes through the house that need to stay available. Material deliveries, dust separation, cleanup and drying time all influence how disruptive a project feels. Share your household schedule so access and the work sequence can be discussed before a start date is agreed.
Older homes need an early conversation
For a home built before 1978, disturbing painted surfaces can introduce lead-paint requirements. EPA recommends a lead-safe certified contractor for this work. Tell us the age of the property so any assessment and required specialist qualifications can be addressed before sanding or demolition is planned.
